Welcome to Cane House (canehouse.shop). These terms & conditions apply to all Cane House products. By agreeing to these terms & conditions, you’re confirming your understanding & obedience to our policy. In the case of disagreement with our terms & conditions only then you are suggested not to use this company. Cane House reserves all the rights to change, modify, and update these terms and conditions at any time. No prior notice will be provided. These general terms & conditions and the policies may change from time to time so please check these before making any purchase.
Payment Process
We accept BDT cash. You can also make payments using your Credit/Debit Card & using the online payment method of the banks/companies we have partnered with. Please check before you pay.
Do you take the payment in cash on delivery?
We don’t provide 100% cash on delivery service. You must pay a minimum of 50% of the full payment while ordering and the due amount should be paid before delivery. And the remaining 50% amount has to be paid on the delivery date.
VAT
VAT has to be paid in excess of the total amount of payment as per government policy. VAT Challan will be provided to the customers.
Shipping
Does Cane House take online orders?
Yes, we do. Once you order from any of our online platforms, you can expect all our products to be delivered within 14-30 working days (Based on the product design and quantity). Estimated delivery lead times are mentioned/labeled with all products on respective product pages. However, due to unavoidable circumstances, the product delivery date may change.
Do I have to pay the delivery fee if I order from Dhaka city?
Yes, we charge based on the items to be delivered. The minimum charge is BDT 500.
Do you take extra charges for outside Dhaka orders?
We’d be happy to serve you free of cost, but our delivery men live on this! The cost depends on where you are located as our delivery costs vary from place to place.
Assemble
Our experienced assemblers will assemble your furniture (if it is required) on-site within 0 to 48 hours of delivering the product. A charge will be applicable based on the product (if it is required & the customer will be informed earlier).
Inventory Holding Cost
The customer will have to pay inventory holding cost valuing 1.5% of the value of the goods per week if the customer doesn’t take delivery of the completed goods. However, there will be 15 15-day buffer before any such cost becomes due. After 2 months from the delivery date product will be dumped and damaged as scrap. After this 2-month deadline, customers can’t ask for a refund or delivery.
Warranty
2-year free service Warranty for any manufacturing fault. No warranty/guarantee for glass, fabric, and color. Any water damage will not be applicable for warranty coverage.
Product Development
Product development is a continuous process and thus there could be minor changes in different versions of the product. This will not affect the functional utility of the product.
